Please join AI and security expert Dr Martin Kraemer (KnowBe4), AI and ethics expert Dr Caitlin Corrigan (Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (IEAI), Technical University of Munich), philosopher and PACT curator Dr Alicja Gescinska, and philosopher and historian of knowledge Prof. Dr. Cornelis J. Schilt (VUB/KIIP) for a conversation on the ethics of Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere, and rapidly influences our daily lives. What seemed impossible ten years ago is reality today, and who knows what the future holds? Some consider AI a blessing for humanity. Its rapid implementation in medicine allows for an early detection of conditions and anomalies and thereby the increased success of treatment. Others point at the dangers AI poses, with Matrix-style scenarios looming in the background. There may be only a thin line between fact and fiction, between utopia and dystopia, between blessing and curse – and it is about time to start a proper dialogue.
